Mahlet Asayehegn

Mahlet Asayehegn was born and raised in Addis Ababa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management (2007) and a master’s degree in public health (2013). Throughout her career, Mahlet has primarily worked at the Ministry of Health, where she has led and coordinated various health programs across facilities. Her focus has been on enhancing health service delivery and strengthening Ethiopia’s overall health system.

Mahlet had the privilege of collaborating with the ReachAnother Foundation team for the first time after the launch of the specialty and subspecialty roadmap at the Ministry. This opportunity was particularly meaningful to her, as ReachAnother’s mission to support children in need of medical care and their mothers aligns closely with her personal values.

Now, as the new Operations Manager at ReachAnother, Mahlet is excited to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate group. She looks forward to making a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable mothers and children in Ethiopia.
