Fran McCabe. MD

Fran is a board-certified Emergency Physician who has worked in the Emergency Department at St Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon for the last 21 years. During that time, she served as the Medical Director of Central Oregon Emergency Physicians, Director of Acute Care Clinical Informatics for St Charles Health System, and most recently served as President of the St Charles Bend/Redmond Medical Staff 2020-2022.

Fran used her training in Global Medicine throughout the 26 years of her Air Force career. She retired as a Colonel from the Air Force Reserves. She has always had a passion for serving in austere or developing environments and partnering with international colleagues. She has long supported the work of ReachAnother and is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve on the ReachAnother Board of Directors and support our many projects and colleagues in Ethiopia.
