For a child born with spina bifida or hydrocephalus in Ethiopia, survival often depends on resources and timing and on someone like you. Every day, ReachAnother partners with hospitals, healthcare providers and government agencies to ensure that no child’s life is defined by a lack of access to care.
Since 2009, more than 20,000 children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus have received life-saving surgery.
Our role is to empower Ethiopian doctors and families to lead the charge in preventing and treating neural tube defects. We don’t just provide funding, we create partnerships, share knowledge, and ensure that every prevention, treatment and and aftercare program we help set up is sustainable for all children for the future.
